Hi, I'm Maureen ("Moe") Walsh, an experienced math educator and test prep specialist with 20 years of classroom and academic tutoring experience. I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Math Eduation from DePaul University and a Master's in Education from Boston College as well as a Master's in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University New Orleans. I honed my craft through teaching in public, charter, and private schools across the country in Chicago, IL, Compton, CA, San Francisco, CA, and New Orleans, LA. When I am not teaching or tutoring, I am enjoying the outdoors, trying a new recipe, learning something new, or connecting with family.

I believe that meaningful academic growth is a result of energy and effort combined with the right tools, resources, and use of feedback. Learning is a journey, and that experience is transformed when a student has a dedicated guide and accountability partner to lead the way.
Throughout my career, I have worked with students across a wide range of ability levels in both classroom and one-on-one settings. The most rewarding part of my work is watching students develop their abilities and attitudes toward learning that they can apply not only to our time together, but in life. Whether I am helping a student strengthen math foundations or navigate the ACT, my goal is to provide thoughtful, personalized instruction that meets students where they are builds the momentum they need to succeed.
